Lying on the eastern part of the Indochinese peninsula, Viet Nam is a strip of land shaped like the letter “S”. China borders it to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the west, the East Sea to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the east and south.
Located at critical position of the region, Vietnam is the gateway to ASEAN countries and the world by land, waterway, and airlines. Widespread deep water port system can serve big cruise and cargo ships. This is a remarkable advantage to develop economic sectors, especially sea transportation to transship goods to Mekong subregion countries and all over the world. Besides natural condition advantages, Vietnam has good infrastructure with bank service, telecommunication, schools, hospitals and public service construction, in response to rising demand of Vietnamese people and international friends who visit or start business in Vietnam. Currently, population of Vietnam is over 90 millions and half of which is young population – a very important force in the country’s development. Those are also the basic elements that make foreign investors believe in Vietnam market.
