THANG BINH AGRICULTURAL SERVICE COOPERATION

THANG BINH agricultural Cooperative was officially established in 2013, and currently has 580 members, of which 98 are active members, and the remaining 482 are associate members, gathered into 06 cooperative groups in 08 communes in Krong Bong district.
The Cooperative is in charge of managing the production, processing, purchasing products for farmer members, and providing agricultural service activities. Thang Binh Cooperative focuses on 2 key commodities, Rice and Sugarcane, with a total cultivation area of nearly 514 hectares: 350 hectares of rice (in which the cultivated area according to VIETGAP: 100hectares), 164 hectares of sugarcane, and 50 hectares of coffee. With charter capital of 2,182,000,000 VND and total capital for production and business is 20,570,000,000 VND.
Infrastructure includes:
– Rice processing factory 1,750m2.
– Manage the production lines and become a market for products’ consumption.
– Provide agricultural services such as Input materials, Irrigation, Service of cultivation, Processing, and transportation.
– Agricultural products: high-quality sugarcane and commercial rice.
– Consumer products: Thang Binh Cooperative clean rice meeting VietGap standards
– Gain the OCOP certificate with 4-star quality.
In recent years, the primary goal of Thang Binh Cooperative has been to form a high-quality commercial rice area, orienting to invest in rice processing facilities including rice drying and packing ones to provide clean and safe rice products for consumers.
In the fourth quarter of 2021, the first “trial” order of more than 06 tons of commercial rice worth more than 150 million VND (6,000 EUR) was exported to Euro (New Zealand). This initial success has created a turning point for the Cooperative in bringing clean rice products to the international market.
