Son Dung Tra is the love and devotion of nearly 50 years of mama Dung – a Vietnamese craftsman and papa Son, with all the love for tea plants of Tan Cuong Thai Nguyen tea area. Her love for the tea tree is like her love for her children – it seems to have been ingrained in her flesh and blood as if she could never leave it. That great love has spread to us, the children who are the next generation of Son Dung Tra who also love and are passionate about tea. We understand the mission of preserving and enhancing the value of tea trees – a precious product of the land given by Tan Cuong Thai Nguyen. Son Dung Tea Cooperative is determined to keep the traditional craft of tea making, using heat from charcoal from drying, to flavoring the tea to create high-value tea products. We are proud to have helped and created more jobs for local workers, sharing most of the difficulties faced by farmers in general and tea makers in particular.
